HOUSTON - A Houston man pulled off an epic proposal for his girlfriend and it was all caught on camera.
Trevon Davis proposed to his girlfriend, Franchelle Hill, over the weekend.
He made a music video, which debuted during what Hill thought was a birthday party. Little did Hill know, the video ended with a proposal!
Davis asked his friend who makes wedding videos to help produce the music video, which is a lip sync version of the Guy hit "Let's Chill" from 1990. The other men in the video are Davis’ fraternity brothers from Lamar University.
“That song symbolizes someone ready to spend the rest of their life with someone – “Let’s chill. Let’s settle down.” I’m ready for this commitment,” said Davis. “If you knew Franchelle, you would think of some crazy ideas to make her happy as well.”
The video features scenes from Trevon and Franchelle's relationship - the school where they met and the track where they reconnected.
“I’m still trying to figure out, when did he have the time to do this?” said Hill. “The fact that he took the time out to think of anything like that was, you know, I have to keep him. There’s no way he can get rid of me now.”
Hill says she has already planned the wedding and set the date for December 2018.
As of 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, the proposal video had 20,000+ views on YouTube.
