GALVESTON, Texas — Texas has bragging rights to three of the top 10 haunted houses in America, according to a report that looked at reviews on TripAdvisor.com.
Amarillo is home to THE best haunted house while spooky spots in Plano and Galveston are ranked fifth and sixth.
Out of the top 10, Galveston's Haunted Mayfield Manor Haunted House is the best bargain and it's open year-round.

There have been reports of unexplained paranormal events such as doors slamming, alarms being triggered and hair being pulled. Haunted Mayfield Manor is located on Harborside Drive. At $15 per person, it's easily the best bang for your buck on the list and it's open year-round.
