Wine, dine and dance at Tango & Malbec

Some of us need a little liquid courage to get up and dance, so a restaurant in town is serving up the largest selection of Malbec wine and also teaching tango lessons. Great Day's Cristina Kooker tastes and tangos at Malbec & Tango.

Tango & Malbec located just steps from the Galleria – Houston, represents a culinary experience from Argentina. The restaurant’s name is derived from the cultural dance of Tango, as well as the grape variety used to make Argentina’s iconic Malbec wine. Enjoy the upscale space, marked by slick red, black and exposed brick accents, a balance between rustic charm and modern feel. Open seven days a week, Tango & Malbec’s custom Parrilla (wood burning grill) is the only one of its kind in Houston. Traditional South American grilling style, using pecan and mesquite wood to prepare perfectly grilled juicy cuts of meat – like Wagyu, Tomahawk, dry aged steaks, etc. – offering grass-fed cuts from around the world. Each night you can wine and dine while watching professional dancers do the Tango or on Sundays they offer tango lessons!
