HOUSTON — The National Black Nurse Practitioner Association helps bridge the gap of health disparities in local communities, promote awareness of the nurse practitioner role in healthcare, and serves as a collaborative venue for professional development. Nurse practitioners serve in various setting such as Pediatrics, Mental Health, Women's Health, Geriatrics, and Acute and Primary Care. The nonprofit has several upcoming events:
