HOUSTON — Juliet Stipeche the Director of the Mayor's Office of Education and Dave Moss, a McDonald's Owner/Operator stopped by Great Day Houston to discuss their Hire Houston Youth Program. Hire Houston Youth is a collective youth workforce program, connecting young Houstonians to paid summer jobs, internships, and apprenticeships. Youth Ages 16 – 24 are offered a minimum of $8 an hour to work at least 7 weeks of paid summer jobs and internships. The Mayor's Office Of Education provided over 7,500 opportunities in 2018.
