HOUSTON — Aimee Coates Monteverde, Chairman of the Breeders Greeters Committee stopped by Great Day Houston.
Volunteers on this committee are responsible for greeting all livestock show exhibitors and assisting them in obtaining stall assignments and animal health clearances. Committee members see over sixteen thousand animals over the course of three weeks.
Established in 1932, the Livestock Show is the largest event of it's kind in the world. Exhibitor's livestock includes Heifers, Steer, Gilts, Barrows, Lamb & Goats, Sheep, Llamas and Alpacas, Rabbits, Chicken and Turkeys. For more information on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, click here.
