HOUSTON — Sandal Gap Studio is a nonprofit art studio making an impact on Houston and beyond. The inspiration for Sandal Gap Studio was birthed after Mom of 4, Lisa Eicher, noticed that her daughter, Sevy, communicated through drawings. Sevy's sister, Ace, is to thank for such a neat art studio idea, making this a true family affair!
Sandal Gap Studio caters to artists living with disabilities. However, others can join in on the fun by volunteering in the space, donating art supplies and purchasing art from Sandal Gap Studio's artists!
Sandal Gap Studio is more than a place to curate art, it is also a place where societal change occurs. The studio's Close the Gap program bridges the divide between adults with disabilities and children.
