HOUSTON — The original "Mickey Mouse Club" in the 1950's launched the careers of Annette Funicello, Jimmy Dodd, Bobby Burgess and more. Disney put together a new group of talented teens in the late 1980's and early 90's for an all new show, "The All New Mickey Mouse Club". Houston native, Damon Pampolina, was an original cast member of that all new cast.
Recently, the cast of "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" reunited for the first time in 30 years in Orlando, Florida. It was an exciting time for the cast to reconnect, but also share the experience with fans who have loved the show since they were young.
Damon Pampolina attended the reunion, which featured a parade at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, meet and greet sessions for fans, a Q&A panel at MegaCon, and a gala and after-party. A portion of the proceeds from the gala and after-party benefited "Give Kids the World Village" and "One Pulse Foundation".
