HOUSTON — Reality series, Top Chef, headed down south to dive into Houston's rich culinary scene this season.
Not only was Houston the setting for Season 19, but Houston's own Chef Evelyn García was selected to compete for the $250,000 Grand Prize.
As of the fifth episode this season, Chef Evelyn is still in the running to become Top Chef. She stopped by Great Day Houston to discuss representing our city on the national stage and share her poached chicken salad recipe from the show.
