Houston's Color Factory Makes Art Accessible for Color Blind Visitors

The Color Factory is known for its immersive, kaleidoscopic experiences that celebrate the joy of color in all its forms.

HOUSTON — Did you know that about one in 12 men and one in 200 women are color blind? That's approximately 98,000 people in Houston alone! Color blindness can make navigating the world of color a bit of a challenge, but the Color Factory, a unique and vibrant art exhibit, is stepping up to the plate with something special.

Color Factory Houston is making history as the first attraction in the city to support "color accessibility." What does that mean? For starters, it means that the Color Factory is taking significant steps to ensure that those with red-green color blindness can fully appreciate the rich tapestry of colors on display.

Great Day's Carlos Hernandez recently caught up with Ben Williams and Susana Rodarte to dive deeper into what this means for visitors.
