Houston Makes Culinary History with Michelin Stars

With a love for wine that extends far beyond taste, June Rodil's influence is shaping the city's culinary culture.

HOUSTON — Houston's food scene reached new heights as the Michelin Guide debuted its first-ever Texas edition last week, awarding Michelin stars to Texas restaurants for the very first time. Among the winners, six Houston establishments earned one Michelin star, showcasing the city's world-class culinary talent.

Leading the pack was Goodnight Hospitality's March, celebrated for its exceptional standards and top-quality ingredients. In addition to this star-studded achievement, another Goodnight Hospitality gem, Rosie Cannonball, received a Bib Gourmand Award, highlighting its ability to deliver incredible food at an excellent value.

These honors go beyond the dishes on the plate, recognizing the teams behind the scenes—chefs, cooks, sommeliers, and waitstaff—whose dedication and passion bring these dining experiences to life.

Goodnight Hospitality partner and CEO, June Rodil, a Master Sommelier, is one such figure elevating Houston's dining reputation.
