Rock band America is returning to the Stafford Centre early next year.
The GRAMMY Award winners are set to take the stage on Feb. 23, 2017.
Known for hits like “A Horse with No Name” and “Sister Golden Hair,” America formed when Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell (along with former band mate Dan Peek) met in high school in the late 1960s. The men were sons of American fathers in the Air Force and British mothers who were stationed at the United States Air Force base in London.
Other America hits include “Ventura Highway,” “Tin Man” and “Lonely People.” The band celebrates its 47th anniversary in 2017.
Tickets for America are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Stafford Centre box office at (281)-208-6900 or online.
