HOUSTON — Great Scott! Talk about a blast from past!
Comicpalooza is bringing Back to the Future actors Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and James Tolkan to this year’s event at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
They join an already star-studded lineup that includes actor and WWE superstar John Cena, the cast of "Charmed" and "Star Trek: Strange New World" cast members Anson Mount and Rebecca Romij.
This year’s event will be held Memorial Day Weekend in downtown Houston.

The movies and the characters of this iconic franchise have been loved for decades,” said Aimée McCurtain, chief strategy officer for Comicpalooza and vice president of Enterprise Strategy for Houston First Corporation, “This is a truly once in a lifetime opportunity for all of our fans.”
The Back to the Future gang will reunite on the Comicpalooza stage in the Great Scott! Experience 1985 with the Cast of Back to the Future experience.
Fox, a renowned Canadian American actor, and activist, rose to fame portraying Alex P. Keaton on Family Ties before his success on the big screen as Marty McFly in the coveted Back to the Future trilogy.
He has credits in various films such as Teen Wolf and Doc Hollywood and voiced roles in Stuart Little and Atlantis.
Recognizable for his iconic role as Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in Back to the Future, Lloyd is also known for his role in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Taxi, The Addams Family and more.
Best known for his role as Mr. Strickland in Back to the Future, Tolkan also starred in War Games, Top Gun, and Woody Allen’s Love and Death.
Comicpalooza attendees can expect a weekend of non-stop entertainment and programming.
Starting Friday, attendees can shop rare collectables, handmade products, and other sensational merchandise. In addition to the shopping, guests can be entertained by programming panels, tabletop games, the annual Cosplay Contest, and special attractions like Full Steel Combat and Itasha Showdown: A Car Runway Experience.
