HOUSTON — It’s that time again! RodeoHouston has announced this year’s entertainment lineup!
RodeoHouston previously announced the genres of music this year, and on Thursday, they announced which performers will wow the crowds at NRG Stadium.
RodeoHouston gets underway on Feb. 27 and runs through March 17. On weekdays, the stadium gates open at 6 p.m., with the rodeo starting at 6:45 p.m. The entertainer hits the stage at around 9 p.m. On weekends, the NRG Stadium gates open at 2 p.m. and the rodeo starts at 2:45 p.m. Then the entertainer goes on at around 5 p.m. The actual starting times for entertainers could vary, based on the rodeo competition.

When do Houston Rodeo tickets go on sale?
So the next two questions are: When you can get your tickets to the shows and how will the new system work?
Tickets go on sale at rodeohouston.com on Thursday, January 18, and you'll need an AXS account to purchase them.
They will be sold in two waves with the first group of shows on sale at 10 a.m. and the second group at 2 p.m.
A waiting room will open 30 minutes before tickets go on sale. If you’re in the waiting room, as soon as the ticket sales open, you’ll be randomly picked to go in and buy your tickets for shows. There is a limit of 10 tickets per order.
The waiting room for Wave 1 opens at 9:30 a.m. for the shows that run from Feb. 27 through March 7.
