GALVESTON, Texas — Thousands of people were treated to a spectacular drone show in Galveston Sunday night.
The event over the historic Strand District was part of the Labor Day Weekend celebration that also included fireworks and a concert.
Locals and visitors lined up to watch the show which included familiar scenes like the Pleasure Pier, a dolphin, a pirate ship and a pelican. The crowd also cheered for the American flag.
It's a good thing they did the show on Sunday because record rainfall on Monday caused street flooding on the island.
