HOUSTON — RodeoHouston announced the genre calendar for the 2025 entertainment lineup Thursday morning.

"The genre calendar announcement marks the first exciting step toward the Rodeo's 2025 entertainment lineup, allowing fans to start planning their RODEOHOUSTON experience," Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo said in a news release. "This early preview demonstrates the Rodeo's commitment to delivering world-class entertainment."
Country music dominated the genres, accounting for 12 of the 20 nights. Here's a breakdown of what genres will be on which nights:
- March 4 - Country
- March 5 - Country
- March 6 - Pop
- March 7 - R&B/Hip Hop (Black Heritage Day)
- March 8 - Country
- March 9 - Regional Mexican
- March 10 - Country
- March 11 - Pop
- March 12 - Christian (Community Day)
- March 13 - Country (Volunteer Appreciation Day)
- March 14 - Rock
- March 15 - Country
- March 16 - Regional Mexican (Go Tejano Day)
- March 17 - Country
- March 18 - Wild Card
- March 19 - Country
- March 20 - Country
- March 21 - Country
- March 22 - Country
- March 23 - Country
The full lineup is set to be released on Thursday, January 9, at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, January 16.
HLSR is also hosting a contest for fans to guess the entertainment lineup. The contest starts at noon on Thursday, December 19, and will run until Sunday, January 5, at 11:59 p.m. One entry will be allowed per person per day. Only one winner will be chosen.
The winner will receive a night in a private suite for up to 18 guests. The suite includes food and beverages, as well as five single-day parking passes. The winner will pick their top five preferred nights and the Rodeo will accept one of them based on availability for the suite.
