Houston Zoo Boo is back now through Halloween

The fall festivities from Sept. 27 to Oct. 31 include Ghost Town, Spooky Forest, a pumpkin tunnel, fun photo ops and more!

HOUSTON โ€” A favorite fall event geared toward families and people of all ages is back at the Houston Zoo.

Zoo Boo runs from Friday, Sept. 27, through Halloween on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On these select nights, they'll stay open till 9:30 p.m. for Zoo Boo After Hours.

The fall festivities include Ghost Town, Spooky Forest, an interactive dance floor, a pumpkin tunnel, fun photo ops and more!

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and enter a digital photo contest for a chance to be featured on the zoo's social media pages.  Tag Zoo Boo photos using the hashtag #HoustonZoo.

The animals at the zoo will also join in on the fun in October. They'll be treated to pumpkins and other fall-themed snacks as part of their daily enrichment. The zooโ€™s dedicated animal care teams provide animals with a variety of daily enrichments to help exercise their cognitive, behavioral and sensory skills.

All Zoo Boo activities are included with general admission and are free for zoo members. Tickets and reservations must be made online for non-members. For all the details and to make reservations, visit www.houstonzoo.org.
