HOUSTON — Trason is a dynamic and engaging journalist.
While others were talking about the US/Mexico border, Trason decided to see it for himself and report the truth of the situation at the border. He reported from ground zero of one of the most active border region, the Rio Grande Valley sector of Texas, for two years. During his time on the border Trason witnessed and reported on the separation of families, the border wall, Cartel violence in Mexico, record breaking drug busts, and human smuggling among other stories gripping the nation.
Next, Trason moved to Atlanta, where he spent three years tackling groundbreaking hard news, political and sports stories that garnered national attention. Trason was also promoted to weekend anchor during his time in Atlanta.
Following his time in Atlanta, Trason accepted an exciting new opportunity to join Paramount CBS’s Innovative Lab as a weekend Anchor for a new national newscast entitled “Now News.”
During his time with the Now Newscast, Trason was tasked with discovering new and exciting forms of storytelling, as well as helping to discover the next evolution of the news industry.
