KHOU 11 was honored with the regional Lone Star EMMY® award for News Excellence on Saturday night, one of three the station was awarded during a ceremony in San Antonio.
KHOU 11 also won a Lone Star EMMY® in the Investigative Report category for the investigation into the Coffee City Police Department. You can watch below.
KHOU 11’s documentary “Juneteenth 1865-2023: The Freedom To Learn” was also awarded a Lone Star EMMY® in the category of Diversity/Equity/Inclusion – Short Form or Long Form. We’ve posted that full documentary below.
