Marcus Gilchrist, we hardly knew ye in Houston. The defensive back is now an Oakland Raider after agreeing to terms with his new team on a 1-year deal.

Gilchrist spent one season in Houston, playing in all 16 games and starting 13. He was primarily deployed as the Texans’ strong safety, though he did cover the slot and move to the free safety spot at times.

Gilchrist notched 45 solo tackles, one sack, one interception and one forced fumble. His 77.2 grade from Pro Football Focus ranked 51st among safeties and fourth on the Texans behind Andre Hal, Eddie Pleasant and Corey Moore.
