HOUSTON – Police found a woman's body in a pond around lunchtime Wednesday in Milby Park.
A dive team responded to the scene Wednesday afternoon at 2001 Central Street.
Police said a witness walking his dog at the park spotted the body in Sims Bayou and called 911.
The HPD Dive Team recovered the body of what is believed to be either a white or Hispanic female. Her identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
