Missing 11-year-old last seen near Waco found safe

Police say they believe the 11-year-old to be in grave danger after she was abducted by a 16-year-old girl.

BELLMEAD, Texas - The missing 11-year-old last seen near Waco has been found safe, according to police and KHOU 11 sister station, KCEN.

An Amber Alert was issued for the missing girl and her teen abductor who were last seen a few miles outside of Waco, Texas.

Katelynn Marie Maldonado, 11, was last heard from in Bellmead and law enforcement said they believe she was in grave danger.

The suspect, Brittani Ann Bolin, 16, was wanted in connection to Maldonado's abduction. It's unclear if authorities located her.

Maldonado was described as a white female, 5'1", 100 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing a maroon hoodie with the words "teenage dirtbags" in white on the front.

Bolin was described as a white female, 4'10", weighing 156 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
