“They just brought light to this community, and now one of these lights has been extinguished,” Butler said. He's known the couple for nearly fifteen years.

The name of the other victim killed in Wednesday's crash hasn't been released but we've learned she was a mother of two.

The driver blamed for the crash, 54-year-old Charles Glaze, was wearing an ankle monitor with GPS tracking when his truck flew across the median into oncoming traffic.

He is awaiting trial on a bizarre attack at a cemetery near Tomball in 2017. Glaze is set for trial in the attempted kidnapping and assault case next April.

It's not clear if he will face charges in the Grand Parkway crash.

Glaze told accident investigators he has a history of seizures, and can’t recall what happened before the crash. However, sources tell KHOU 11 News that Glaze he has no medical restrictions on his license, and did not appear to be in a post-seizure state immediately following the crash.
