HOUSTON — Firefighters responded to a fire at a home in northwest Houston early Thursday and found a garage and vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. in the 5900 block of Greenmont, not far from Antoine and W. Tidwell.
Firefighters managed to put the fire out, and there were no injuries, but the homeowner says a lot of his property was burned.
The homeowner tells KHOU 11 he woke up to use the restroom when he saw a glow outside his home. He found his classic station wagon, his work motorcycle and his workshop where he restores old vehicles on fire.
The fire was put out in about 15 minutes.
