CONROE, Texas – The body of a missing fisherman was found on Lake Conroe late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Lake Patrol.
The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Warren Jury from Spring.
Searchers used side sonar scan to locate Jury in about 10 feet of water. Divers from the Precinct One dive team retrieved his body.
Jury's abandoned boat was found floating in the lake Tuesday morning with his personal belongings still inside.
Deputies tracked down his family and they said he was last seen fishing near the dock just before 9 p.m. Monday. They said it wasn't unusual for him to fish all night.
