KATY, Texas — A man was taken to the hospital by Life Flight after a scaffolding accident at a construction site in Katy, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.
Major Chad Norvell said the man fell 25 feet when the scaffolding collapsed.
The accident happened at a construction site for a new Katy ISD high school at Fulshear Bend and Cross Creek Bend Lane.
The man suffered a broken leg but he is expected to be OK, said Norvell.
It's not clear yet what led to the collapse.
