A Kingwood home is a "total loss" after a fire damages the roof and other parts of the home Saturday morning.
The incident took place around 4 a.m. on Pine Cone Drive near Old Oak Lane.
Officials with the Houston Fire Department said the roof was totally involved with flames when they arrived on scene. It took 10 to 15 minutes to get the fire under control.
Luckily, no one was injured during this fire. The homeowner was out of town for spring break.
There was no injuries to firefighters.
There is no word on what caused the fire.
