No injuries after plane crashes in Arcola

The sheriff's office said the pilot was the only person on board and they were not injured in the crash.

ARCOLA, Texas - The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is reporting a second small plane has crashed just a couple of hours after a DEA plane crashed and injured three people.

The second plane crashed happened around 5:23 p.m. Wednesday in Arcola in Fort Bend County.

Witnesses said they could see the tail of the plane sticking out of a ditch near the 500 block of McKeever Road and Post Oak.

The sheriff's office said the pilot was the only person on board and they were not injured in the crash. DPS out of Brazoria County is investigating.
