HOUSTON — A four-alarm fire burned at an apartment complex near the Galleria area Friday.
It happened Friday afternoon at an apartment complex along Greenridge and Fairdale. KHOU 11’s Doug Delony first spotted the fire that quickly went from two to four alarms.
Officials said 18 units have been damaged so far. They also said two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion and at least one other person was treated for smoke inhalation.
Both firefighters were released from the hospital later Friday.
At this point, it’s not clear what started the fire. We’re told it was coming from six units when the Houston Fire Department first got there, then spread to other units.
