Mobile health clinics set up in Deer Park for people experiencing sickness from ITC fire

The mobile units will be open Thursday and Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. Anyone can attend.

DEER PARK, Texas — The Harris County Public Health, along with Precinct 2, is supporting Deer Park residents by setting up mobile health clinics for people who may experiencing medical-related issues due to the chemical tank fire in Deer Park.

The mobile units will provide the following:

  • Wellness screenings
  • Glucose screening
  • Blood pressure screening
  •  Vision and hearing screenings
  • Health assessments
  • Immunizations for adults and children
  • Mental health resources
  • Chronic disease education
  • Asthma education
  • Nutrition education

The units will be set up at the Jimmy Burke Activity at 500 W 13th Street, Deer Park, Texas 77536.

They’ll be open Thursday and Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. Anyone can attend.
