HOUSTON — A woman was taken into custody after police say they found an unknown amount of narcotics following a chase overnight.
The chase started shortly before midnight Sunday when an officer tried to stop a driver for violations on Reed Road, according to the Houston Police Department. The driver allegedly refused to stop, turning onto Cullen and then Yellowstone.
Eventually officers used spike strips to bring the driver to a stop on MLK near the South Loop.
She was taken into custody without further incident.
Police have not yet released the suspect’s name or the charges against her.
