HOUSTON - Three people were shot inside of a car Sunday morning in southeast Houston.
It happened at about 1:26 a.m. near the 5600 block of Selinsky.
The Houston Police Department said two men and a woman were attending a party at a nearby apartment complex when they decided to leave and go to a nearby convenient store.
As they were driving back to the apartment, an unknown vehicle pulled along side of them and someone from that vehicle started shooting, according to police.
The two men and the woman were all shot. They ended up crashing their car into the Thomas Middle School fence.
When police arrived on scene they found the woman still in the car. She was shot in the neck.
The two men ran away before police arrived.
Police later learned that one man was taken to the hospital by a private car. The other man was later found at the apartment complex and taken to the hospital by EMS.
They are all expected to survive.
There is no information on the suspect's vehicle.
