FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas- A student at Needville Junior High was arrested Tuesday after being accused of making a terroristic threat on Snapchat.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, they were notified about the possible threat by school personnel.
After investigation, deputies say they learned a 14-year-old student at the school posted an image of a shotgun on Snapchat with the caption, “Don’t come to skoo tm @needvill.”
A student told authorities they also heard him say, “I’m not scared; I’m planning on doing this.”
The student was charged with making a Terroristic Threat which is a third degree Felony.
"Please parents, this is serious", said Sheriff Troy Nehls. “Talk to your kids and be active in their lives.”
