HOUSTON — Two men were arrested early Monday after they allegedly fired a gun into the air while traveling on I-45 the Gulf Freeway.
A Houston police sergeant says at about 2:15 a.m. he was sitting on the northbound frontage road of the freeway when the suspects went by in an older Cadillac shooting into the air from a car window.
The sergeant chased after them, and the suspects pulled over in a parking lot near FM 518.
Police at the scene say both men were arrested after officers found a backpack full of marijuana. Two guns were recovered as well.
