Houston police say two suspects have been arrested in an attempted carjacking and fatal shooting of a woman Monday in southwest Houston.
Jermia Guillory, 20, and D’Marquis Boone, 24, face capital murder and aggravated robbery charges.
Police say 30-year-old Kiesha Price was in a BMW sedan with her boyfriend and the boyfriend's uncle when they stopped at a Valero on Bissonnet and Leawood Boulevard, just west of Wilcrest. The two men went into the store while she stayed in the car in the front passenger seat.
Surveillance video shows two male suspects on BMX style bicycles go up to the car and open the doors. There was a struggle, and the suspects shot Price.
They fled the scene on their bikes, leaving the wounded Price and the car behind.
Price was later taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Houston Crime Stoppers at (713)-222-TIPS (8477) or call HPD Homicide at (713)-308-3600.
