ROSENBERG, Texas - A man was arrested Wednesday after Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputies seized $100,000 worth of marijuana from his vehicle in Rosenberg.
Gerson Salguero, 23, of Katy, was arrested on a second degree felony charge of possession of marijuana and third degree felony charge of unlawful use of a criminal instrument.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop Wednesday on Highway 59 North. During the investigation, a Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force and his K-9 partner found 19 bundles of marijuana in an altered external gas tank in the truck bed.
Deputies say the marijuana weighed about 202.5 pounds and has a street value of $100,000.
