HOUSTON - On Friday, August 17, Great Day Houston's Cristina Kooker sat down with Warren Broadnax, founder of the She's Happy Foundation. One in every five school-age children lives in poverty. When you are struggling to put food on the table, it can be hard to even think about getting new school supplies. The She's Happy Foundation is helping Houston children get the supplies they need to start the school year off right. Their annual school supply giveaway is this Saturday from 12 to 4 pm, at Houston area She's Happy Hair locations. The Foundation will also be giving away free haircuts to children on August 26th.
