Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. celebrates 106 years of public service

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is continuing their tradition of community service by hosting a joint day of service with all of their Houston chapters in honor of their founders day.

HOUSTON — Joni Hall, President of the North Harris County Alumnae Chapter and Tricia Mayes, the Joint Founders Day Chair joined Deborah Duncan to discuss their Founders Day celebrations. Founded in 1913, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has dedicated 106 years to serving their communities. On January 26, hundreds of Delta women will paint the town red, by participating in various community service activities. These activities included volunteering at Star Of Hope, Houston Food Bank, and Habitat For Humanity.
